Immersing the birds
The Bird Immersion Nursery is a 700 square meter space with the capacity to house 200 birds of various species.
It was created with the aim of sheltering animals rescued from illegal trafficking and mistreatment that arrive at Eco Park through institutions and environmental agencies, such as Ibama and the Paraná State Water and Land Institute. Currently, several species live here, such as parrots, black-bellied tropicbirds, pepper-bills, canaries, azure-winged teals, curios, collared teals, Australian parakeets, mallards, Carolina teals, among others.
Rehabilitation
Most animals that have been illegally trafficked or mistreated are no longer able to survive on their own in the wild, due to physical or psychological trauma, and require human care.
For this reason, Eco Park has a specialized team of trained professionals, such as veterinarians, biologists and caretakers. In this way, we offer a safe environment, with quality of life and well-being, where animals can express their natural behaviors and instincts.
Open every day from 9am to 5pm. Mini Farm and Bird Immersion free.
