Flight of the Birds of Prey

Flight of the Birds of Prey

Tradition and Conservation

Watching the Flight of the Birds of Prey is to ascend to the skies of a world of history and emotions. We invite you to live this extraordinary experience about the history of falconry, observing some of the most fascinating predators on the planet. You're sure to learn to love and respect these animals with this presentation.

Falconry was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010.

Its historical value in the formation of civilization is great. And at Eco Park's Birds of Prey Flight you can learn about their origins and how, to this day, this activity promotes human coexistence with these animals and the conservation of their species.

At Eco Park, the Flight of the Birds of Prey brings together more than 10 species native to Brazil, North America, Europe and the Middle East.

The presentation takes place as part of the routine care of the animals and the species participating in each presentation may vary due to the management of each individual, always respecting their right to choose whether or not to participate and safeguarding their well-being.

Eco Park is an institution that cares for and protects birds of prey such as hawks, falcons, owls and vultures. Most of these animals have been removed from situations of mistreatment, animal trafficking or accidents, such as falling out of nests. Our mission has as its priority the conservation of their species and the rehabilitation and promotion of their individual well-being.
