On Monday, September 1, at 9 a.m., Eco Park Foz is holding a special event to commemorate World Primate Day. The activity will take place in the Primate Forest, the first and only primate immersion nursery in Brazil, a space where you can observe several species up close, without barriers or screens separating you from the animals.
Visitors will be able to watch themed environmental enrichment, a fundamental practice for animal welfare, which stimulates the primates' natural behaviors and guarantees quality of life inside the enclosure. As well as observing the activity, the public will have the opportunity to learn from the park's environmental educators about the importance of conserving these species and the essential role they play in ecosystems.
At the same time, the initiative seeks to highlight the commemorative date and reinforce Eco Park Foz 's commitment to environmental education, research and wildlife conservation.
