In order to provide tourists with more comfort and peace of mind, Dreams Eco Park in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, has extended its opening hours during the July vacation.
From this Saturday (15), visits - to the ecological park and space to raise awareness and care for animals and nature - can be made from 9am to 6pm daily.
The Criollo Horse and Birds of Prey presentations take place at two times. In the morning at 10am and in the afternoon at 3:30pm.
Between these hours, visitors can relax under the trees, go horseback riding and visit the Mini Farm, which houses mini pigs, cows, calves, ostriches, a couple of llamas and other animals.
Another activity that has delighted visitors is the "Bird Immersion". In the 700 square meter space, 6 meters high, there are more than 50 birds flying around the enclosure, from little birds to macaws. Among them are parrots, an oriole, a pepper-billed magpie, a canary, a blue-winged magpie, a curio, a collared magpie, peacocks and geese. A couple of tortoises also live there.
According to the Eco Park's veterinarian, Stacy Wu, most of the animals in the enclosure were victims of mistreatment and now have a suitable place to live, as they are unable to return to the wild. "The whole space has been designed to offer well-being and an environment very close to wildlife," she explained.
Soon, visitors will also be able to take pedalos on the lake at Dreams Eco Park and ride mini tractors.
