The 1st Festa Junina promoted by Eco Park in Fazendinha will be held over the coming long weekend and the team is finalizing the last details to delight visitors. The activities begin on Saturday morning (22) and continue until Monday (24), the holiday of St. John, patron saint of Foz do Iguaçu. The space is open daily from 9am to 5pm.
During the three days there will be lots of games, typical food, a mechanical bull, presentations, a kermesse and a caipira gymkhana, in addition to the traditional activities that visitors can enjoy at the Eco Park, such as the Crioulo Horse and Birds of Prey presentation, interaction with the farm animals, a visit to the Bird Immersion Aviary and a pedal boat ride.
"We decided to have a June party because our space is very reminiscent of places and has a nostalgic atmosphere for this party. Anyone who visits us is sure to have a great time," said Igor Morais, Eco Park's institutional coordinator.
Eco Park
Eco Park is located less than five minutes from the entrance to Iguaçu National Park and next to the Dreams Park Show Complex.
It's a place to connect with nature and the animals. There are more than 33,000 square meters where visitors can stroll around and take part in the domestication of the Fazendinha animals by offering food to the sheep, cows, mini goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mini pigs, tapirs, ostriches, llamas and other animals.
You can walk barefoot on the lawn and play with the children in the playground.
Twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., it is possible to follow activities that connect with human history: presentations by the Criollo Horse and the Birds of Prey.
