Throughout the month of April, public and private school teachers from all over Brazil can enter Dreams Eco Park in Foz do Iguaçu for free.
The aim is to introduce the newest ecological park in the Trinational region to those who talk to children, teenagers and adults every day about the importance of caring for animals and the environment.
All you need to show to receive the benefit is a photo ID, pay stub or work permit. With the exception of the Easter holiday (from the 7th to the 9th) and Tiradentes (from the 21st to the 23rd), due to the limit on daily visits.
The Dreams Eco Park, located next to the Dreams Park Show, is a space for raising awareness and caring for birds, animals and the Atlantic forest, but it also offers various leisure and entertainment options for all ages.
Inside Dreams Eco Park is the Falconry Center, a space for the protection and rehabilitation of birds of prey and an immersion in the art and history of falconry, an ancient technique brought from Europe whose aim is to rehabilitate birds of prey (carnivores) to hunt. After returning to the past, more precisely to 1400 BC, it is possible to follow the flight of the birds. Under the command of a falconer, owls, hawks and vultures fly across the sky, but return in search of their food.
The Mini Farm is another option. You can reminisce about good times spent on grandma's, uncle's or cousin's farm, or live those good memories. Inside the little red houses, which look like a modern version of the "3 Little Pigs", there are a couple of llamas, guinea pigs, cows, ducks, geese, peacocks, horses, sheep, goats, ostriches and other animals. There's also a playground and a rest and picnic area.
At Dreams Eco Park, visitors can also go horseback riding, accompanied by our horsewomen.
In the coming weeks, the Immersion Nursery will open: a 600-square-meter space where visitors can stroll among the birds. These include parrots, curassows and canaries.
Two other Dreams Eco Park attractions scheduled to open later this year are an open-air Medieval Museum and a themed restaurant.
The Museum's first statue over four meters high has arrived. It is a representation of Emperor Federico II di Svevia, better known as the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
Dreams Eco Park is located in Remanso Grande, next to the Dreams Park Show Complex and less than five minutes from Iguaçu National Park. It is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
To learn about the techniques applied by the Falconry Center and the flight of the birds, visitors can choose two times: at 10:30 am and at 4 pm. Earlier, at 10am and 3.30pm, there is a horse show.
