Dreams Eco Park, in Foz do Iguaçu, recorded 1,561 admissions over the Easter holiday. The number of tourists is 87% higher than during the four days of the Carnival holiday.
The busiest day was Good Friday. Exactly 828 people from various parts of Brazil and neighboring countries visited the space to see the animals of the Mini Farm and enter the world of falconry. The moment most awaited by the tourists was the flight of the birds of prey (vultures, owls and hawks), which fly across the sky and return to the falconer's hand in search of food.
"We're happy to offer a place of leisure and contact with nature to an increasing number of people," said Paula Haito, the park's commercial manager. According to Paula, tourists can expect more news on the next holiday: Tiradentes.
Marco Merini's family came from Blumenau, in Santa Catarina, to spend the long weekend in Foz and enjoy the city's attractions. "We loved all the tours offered by the Dreams Group. We already knew the Wax Museum and the Valley of the Dinosaurs, but we went again. There's always something new. But what our daughter Sofia liked most was getting up close to the animals on the mini farm," said Marco.
Vani Groberio and her son Enrico loved the horse ride. "We needed a place to relax, have contact with nature and experience horseback riding. It was our Easter present," said Vani.
Wedding anniversary
Flávia Dondoni and Erick Freitas came from Cascavel to celebrate their first year of marriage in Foz. Among the outings chosen by the couple to mark the date was Dreams Eco Park.
"It was the first time my husband and I had seen birds of prey. Learning about the history of each bird, how they got to the park and how they lived before was wonderful," said Flávia. She added: "I'm very grateful for every member of staff who attended to us and for every smile given so effortlessly to make our day incredible."
Teachers and autistic people
Until the end of the month, teachers and people with autism can enter Dreams Eco Park for free. Residents of Foz do Iguaçu, on the other hand, have a special price: they pay just R$20 to visit the space.
Mini farm
As well as immersing themselves in the art of falconry, watching the horses and birds of prey perform, visitors can ride horses, interact with the animals on the mini farm and enjoy a picnic with family and friends.
