The Foz do Iguaçu Falconry Center, a space for the protection and rehabilitation of birds of prey, which opened in December, is now part of Dreams Eco Park, an ecological park that offers various leisure and entertainment options for the whole family.
Dreams Eco Park is also home to the Mini Farm, which currently has a couple of llamas, guinea pigs, a cow, ducks, geese, peacocks, horses, sheep and other animals. There is also an area for resting, picnics and horseback riding.
In the coming weeks, the Immersion Nursery will open: a 600-square-meter space where visitors can stroll among the birds. These include parrots, curassows and canaries.
Two other Dreams Eco Park attractions scheduled to open later this year are an open-air Medieval Museum and a themed restaurant. The Museum's first statue has already arrived.
Dreams Eco Park is managed by the Dreams Park Show Complex, which in June will be nine years old in Foz do Iguaçu and now has five attractions: Wax Museum, Dinosaur Valley, Wonders of the World, Ice Bar and Dreams Motor Show.
According to the park's commercial manager, Paula Haito, there will be two parks managed by the same group, but with different proposals.
"One is a magical, make-believe world with fairies, elves, ice monsters and dinosaurs. The other is also for leisure and entertainment, but with activities to raise environmental awareness and care for the animals and the Atlantic forest," explained Paula.
Dreams Eco Park is located in Remanso Grande, next to the Dreams Park Show Complex and less than five minutes from Igauçu National Park. It is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
To learn about the techniques applied by the Falconry Center and the flight of the birds, visitors can choose two times: at 10:30 am and at 4 pm. Earlier, at 10am and 3.30pm, there is a horse show.
