Women were the main visitors to the Falconry Center this weekend. With their families or in groups of friends, they took advantage of the free admission to relax, have a picnic, visit the mini farm, ride horses and watch the birds of prey fly.
The promotion to commemorate International Women's Day runs until Friday (10). Until then, women accompanied by a paying guest can visit the space for free. The aim is to offer women a moment of leisure, rest, relaxation and contact with nature.
Agnes Ramos heard about the promotion and immediately planned Saturday's outing with her family. "We loved the space and especially the presentation of the horses. My daughter Aurora loved it," she said.
Carolina Manfrin recorded good family times at the Falconry Center with her son Otávio and mother Dalva. "We came in search of this contact with nature and to get away from the screens for a while. A good option for relaxing with the family," she said.
Businessman Jorbel Griebeler also took advantage of the sunny weekend to visit the space. "I'm amazed at this new attraction in Foz. It was a fantastic experience for me and my family. We loved learning about the history of falcons and even more about the flight of birds."
Who is entitled
The promotion is valid for residents of Foz do Iguaçu, the 14 municipalities bordering the Iguaçu National Park and the 16 municipalities bordering Itaipu Lake.
To receive the benefit, residents of both Foz do Iguaçu and the neighboring municipalities must present proof of address and a photo ID when purchasing the ticket and making the visit.
The Center
The Falconry Center, inaugurated in December, is a space for environmental preservation and care for birds of prey and some species of animals.
During the tour, visitors can immerse themselves in the art of falconry, ride horses and watch birds such as owls, falcons, hawks and vultures fly overhead. You can also visit the mini farm and take advantage of the space for a picnic with family and friends.
The center is located in Remanso Grande, at 111 Cruz Alta Street, next to the Dreams Park Show Complex and less than five minutes from the Igauçu National Park. It is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
Visitors can choose between two times to watch the birds fly: at 10.30am and 4pm. Earlier, at 10am and 3.30pm, there is a horse show.
