Fazendinha do Eco Park, a place to connect with nature in Foz do Iguaçu, is preparing a special program to celebrate Easter (March 29-31).

During the three days of the holiday there will be educational and interactive activities for the whole family. All free of charge for both adults and children, always from 9am to 5pm.

On the 29th, Good Friday, visitors will be able to have their faces painted, take part in the collage workshop, play on the mini tractor circuit and interact with the animals at Fazendinha. The rabbit enclosure is even undergoing a renovation to make the experience even more positive for both visitors and the animals.

"We had a similar experience on Children's Day and the result was very positive. The families loved it. We decided to once again promote this interaction between man and animal in a healthy and playful way," said Eco Park's institutional coordinator, Igor Morais.

On Saturday 30th, the activities start with a workshop to make Easter stamps, then there's a painting workshop, a mini tractor circuit and interaction with the animals at Fazendinha. As well as rabbits, there are goats, cows, calves, llamas, ostriches, guinea pigs and mini pigs.

On Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter egg hunt, a workshop to make wooden rabbits, a mini tractor circuit, face painting and interaction with the Fazendinha animals.

More activities

Alongside the Easter activities, visitors to the Eco Park will also be able to watch the Flight of the Birds of Prey and the presentation of the Criollo Horse, play on the playground, visit the Bird Immersion Nursery and take a pedal boat ride on Lago da Anta.

The Horse presentation takes us on a tour of the history of South America and the Border through the origins of the Creole breed. The flight of the birds is a moment of education and learning about the protection and rehabilitation of birds of prey that have been taken in.

Special rate

Residents of Foz do Iguaçu pay a special rate of R$15, while residents of the 14 municipalities bordering the Iguaçu National Park and the 15 municipalities bordering Itaipu Lake have a special rate. Children under the age of six get in free.

To receive the benefit, iguaçuenses and residents of the neighboring municipalities need to present proof of address and a photo ID at the time of their visit.
