Eco Park saw an 83% increase in Easter holidays compared to 2023

Eco Pak by Dreams recorded an 83% increase in visitors between Good Friday and Easter Sunday compared to the same period in 2023.

The greatest demand came from Iguassu residents and those living in the neighboring municipalities who took advantage of the long weekend to enjoy the Easter activities promoted by Eco Park's team of environmental educators, as well as the Criollo Horse and Birds of Prey presentations and the visit to Fazendinha. The busiest day was on Sunday.

Rocio and Michel Romero came with their daughters Sol, six, and Luna, 12, from Asunción, Paraguay, to enjoy the holiday in Foz do Iguaçu.

Their first activity was at the Eco Park. "We love this place. From the moment we pass the ticket office, it's like going back to our childhood. This contact with nature is very special for today's children," said Rocio. According to Michel, the girls loved taking part in the Easter activities and, of course, the chance to feed the animals at Fazendinha.

Luiz Henrique and Carolina Maldonado took their two-year-old daughter Luísa to interact with nature. "This experience is unique. It's worth every second," said Carolina.

Iguassu couple Mohamed and Débora Haidar had already visited Eco Park on other occasions, but they were impressed by the unit's growth. "The space is very complete. We love the pedal boat. It was hard to get my five-year-old son Ibrahim off the mini tractor circuit. He loved it," said Débora. For Mohamed, Foz needed a place like Eco Park for children to feel free and safe at the same time," he said.

Easter activities

Throughout the holiday, visitors to the Eco Park had the opportunity to take part in educational and interactive activities for the whole family. There was face painting, a collage workshop, a mini tractor circuit, Easter stamp making, a painting workshop and an Easter egg hunt.

"It was a very positive experience for the whole Eco Park team. It was great to see adults and children connecting with nature and interacting with our space. We even saw people who were thrilled to have the opportunity to feed the animals at the little farm. Not to mention the egg hunt, which was the most memorable moment for the families," said Eco Park's Institutional Coordinator, Igor Morais.

After collecting the plastic eggs scattered around the Eco Park, they exchanged them for sweets and treats.

With the results of this holiday, Eco Park's team of educators has already started planning activities for the next commemorative dates.

 Special price for Autism Day

Residents of Foz do Iguaçu already pay a special rate of R$15 and autistic people get in free, but this Tuesday (2), World Autism Awareness Day, parents, therapists or companions of autistic children and adults pay R$10 to visit Eco Park.

Eco Park is an "Autism Friendly Company", a title granted by the Neurodiverse Organization for the Rights of Autistic People (ONDA), a social organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of autistic people.
