The sweetest holiday of the year will be full of learning and fun for those who visit Eco Park Foz, a place to interact with nature and animals in Foz do Iguaçu.
The environmental education team at Eco Park Foz has put together an intense program to please the whole family. From Good Friday (18) to Easter Sunday (20), all visitors will be able to see the exhibition "Who lays eggs? - Myths and truths about rabbits and oviparous animals".
On Friday, children and adults will be able to help the Eco Park Foz team feed the monkeys in the Primate Forest with Easter-related food, but all made from fruit and vegetables. "It's what we call environmental enrichment. We offer the same food, but in different styles and formats in order to stimulate the animals and for them to express their natural behaviors," explained Ana Carolina Theobald Moretto, the park's environmental educator.
Children can also take part in the Eco Workshop to make their own Easter Slime and the Eco Adventure of the Rabbits. In this activity, they will play traditional childhood games such as running with eggs in a spoon (balancing rabbit), jumping like a rabbit (jumping rabbit), rabbit comes out of its burrow using hula hoops, hot carrot, similar to the traditional hot potato and, to top it all off, connect the tail to the rabbit (just like a donkey's tail). And of course, the traditional bunny face painting.
On Saturday, Easter-themed enrichment will be offered to all the animals at Eco Park Foz, including the Fazendinha and the Aviário Imersão das Aves.
To get the kids even more excited, there will be a Kinetic Sand workshop, storytelling and a fun little theater explaining Easter traditions, with rabbits, birds and other animals as characters, mixing fantasy and education. And all the children who want to can transform themselves into bunnies by painting their faces.
Egg hunts and much more
On Easter Sunday (20/04) there will be face painting, Easter-themed enrichment for the bunnies and the Ears Workshop, where the children will assemble their own bunny ears. To complete the special Sunday, there will be the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. As well as face painting, ring games, tic-tac-toe and a chat about the myths and truths about rabbits, the animals that symbolize this time of year.
