The Foz do Iguaçu Falconry Center has been an option for extra-class activities for students from public and private schools and institutions as part of the Dreaming to Learn project, launched by the Dreams Park Show Complex in September.
The project, which offers solidarity fares and partnerships with educational institutions, has already sold more than 7,000 tickets.
The last group to immerse themselves in the ancient history and art of falconry were the young people who take part in the activities of the Fraternity Alliance Association (AFA).
According to the coordinator of AFA's Casa da Criança program, Maria Auzana Nicolli, these out-of-class activities generate a series of positive experiences for young people and children.
During outdoor classes, they are better able to observe the world around them, stimulating creativity and autonomy. Another benefit Auzana points out is that the content being studied in the classroom is better retained.
According to the coordinator, the theme discussed during the Falconry tour was the importance of caring for the environment and the birds.
"They were delighted with the falconry, the falcons flying and the other birds that many were seeing for the first time, like the buzzard and the owl. It was a very remarkable experience in their lives," he said.
